Inside The Oldest City In Europe (not Rome Or Athens) 🇧🇬

During my travels to Bulgaria, I was captivated by the country’s unique blend of old-world charm and modern vitality. Exploring the vibrant city of Sofia, I was immersed in rich history and culture, from the ancient Thracian ruins to the bustling local markets. Venturing to the scenic Black Sea coast, I was enchanted by the picturesque landscapes and warm hospitality of the coastal towns. The Rila Mountains offered breathtaking vistas and exhilarating experiences for outdoor enthusiasts like myself. Whether indulging in the delicious local cuisine or uncovering the country’s folk traditions, Bulgaria left an indelible mark on my heart, making it a destination I can’t wait to revisit. 1. Bulgaria is located in Southeast Europe and is bordered by Romania to the north, Serbia and North Macedonia to the west, Greece and Turkey to the south, and the Black Sea to the east. 2. Sofia, Bulgaria’s capital, is one of the oldest cities in Europe, with a history spanning over 7,000 years.
