Dr John’s Gumbo is one of my personal favourite albums ever! Stack-A-Lee, or Stagger Lee, was first recorded by Fred Waring’s Pennsylvanians in 1923 and many versions have been released since by musicians such as Bob Dylan and John Hurt. Hope you enjoy!
