How the Roland JP-8000 shaped the Half-Life Soundtrack(s)

The long awaited follow up to my previous video about how the Roland MC-303 was used in Half-Life 1’s credits theme ( Here, we talk about a popular virtual analog synth, the Roland JP-8000, and how, aside from being a very popular choice in the trance genre, also helped contribute to the Kelly Bailey’s work from Half-Life 1, to 2 and the Episodes, all the way to Portal and his VR game Vanishing Realms.
