Info about the song: The footage used in this video is mostly from the 1993 constitutional crisis of Russia, with some from the 1991 august coup. Both of these were last-ditch attempts by parts of the government, rebelling army units, and/or protestors at saving the Soviet Union or reinstating Soviet Russia. The song is from soviet times, this version performed by the group “Freestyle“ in the Kazakh SSR in 1989, a couple years before the collapse.
