This music video is part of the continuing story from the perspective of our characters who were introduced in our Nordic fantasy comic book, “Legend of the Shaders”. We’re so excited to share a bit more of the world and characters that we have created for “Legend of the Shaders”. Like our other original works, “The Twins and the Trolls” pays homage to our Norwegian heritage. Some of our favorite stories as children were scary stories about Old World trolls, and we thought it would be fun to write a troll story of our own! In a way, trolls are the personification of the most undesirable human traits. These legendary creatures are representative of all that is evil and destructive. We purposely wrote this story in a way that it can correlate to the modern day troll… If you don’t play games with trolls, the trolls lose their power over you. We hope that listeners can take a moment of reflection and notice the “troll traits” within others, or even themselves. When our ancestors left Norway to come to the “New World”, the troll stories were passed down through the generations and the trolls became mythical creatures of legend. And while it’s a nice to think that the Nordic trolls of the Old World were never anything but myth, we wouldn’t recommend that you go walking unprepared into a Dark Forest… unless the Twins have been there first. ;) ;) Everything that you hear in the video is just our harps and our voices – exactly like we can perform it live with no overlays or backing tracks.
