Tonight is the fifth date of Queen’s first ever tour and is played in an long demolished boxing arena simply known as ’Liverpool Stadium’. This and the following tour would see the band open up for Mott the Hoople. While Mott was a bigger name back in the early 70s, Queen would quickly rise up to fame, also thanks to their awesome live shows in these early years, winning over many of the audiences they would play for in the next couple of years.
