The Beatles - Now And Then (1964 Version) [AI]

This recording contains no samples of other recordings. The music and vocals were performed and recorded by a real live human, and then the lead vocals I sang were then run through A.I. filters to replicate the tones of Paul, John, and George’s voices. After hearing the final Beatles song “Now And Then” last week, I was immediately inspired to record a cover, specifically taking inspiration from the Hard Day’s Night era. I released my version the next day. Over the weekend though, curiosity got the best of me, and I wondered what my 1960s arrangement would sound like with John and Paul’s voices. The A.I. at first was a little wonky (at best), but after trying a few more fresh vocal takes doing my best Paul, John and George impersonations, adding some more musical parts, and giving the whole song a more authentic mid-60s mix, I had something that I thought was worth sharing. I know A.I. can be a controversial topic, but I tried to stay as true as possible to what John, Paul, and George would sound like if John brought this song to the band a decade earlier. Hopefully you enjoy this for what it is, a fun little “what if” companion piece to the beautiful haunting version The Beatles released last week. If you’d like to check out my cover version with my own vocals “unfiltered”, it’s currently available exclusively on Bandcamp at , and will have a full music video for that version coming this week as well.
