CCYSK: Add A Volume Control To Any Audio Circuit In this video I answer a question that I have been asked a few times, “How can I add a volume control to my __________?“ This is a simple addition to any audio circuit with a speaker. You simple add in a potentiometer before the speaker. Outer pins of pot go to the signal and ground. The wiper, the middle pin goes to the speaker. You see, all you are doing is bleeding a portion of the signal destined for the speaker to ground.
