WORKING WITH XML & THE VMIX DATA MODEL - PT1

Click Here: if you would like to join us through Video Call-In to ask a question or to comment on something in the show. Over the past several seasons, we have covered many different scripting topics that leverage XML – and most frequently the XML structure used by vMix to track its configuration and state. It has become an essential component of most of the shows we do. Based on feedback we’ve be getting from many people in our community, on today’s show I’d like to take a step back from the scripting side of things and spend time going over some foundational XML concepts and how they apply to vMix Scripting. We will start with the basics of using XML to describe data sets – from concept to data model. From there, we will go through the XML model used by vMix to describe its structure and state, and explain all the main XML elements it leverages. If you’d like to access any of the scripts used during our shows, here is the link to our Streaming Alchemy GitHub Repository: Google Drive: Enjoy them. Share them. Improve them! Thanks for joining us for the show!
