Crochet Tutorial - Christmas Lights Embellishment

Learn how to make these light bulbs and how to attach them to your project to look like a strand of holiday lights! I used Simply Soft yarn and a H8/5mm crochet hook. Colors I used for light bulbs: Red, Bluemint, Kelly Green, and Royal Blue. I used a dark green for the cord on a white background, but use whatever colors looks best on your project! Light Bulb pattern: Begin with Magic Circle (Magic Circle Tutorial: ) In center of circle, work: SC 3 CH 1 DC CH 1 SC 4 Pull beginning yarn tight to close the circle. Join with SL ST in top of 1st SC. Finish off, leaving long ending tail to be used for sewing. Weave in beginning yarn tail.
