Preparing the Dansan Red Special for the 2024 Tour

After many years of being a spare guitar, the famous Dansan proto #001 will be the main guitar, again! Yes, I’ll use this guitar as my main axe for the upcoming tour with Queenshow. I decided to do also a nice upgrade. I put a full size pot on the volume fact I used an Ernie Ball 250k log. I had to do some small mods, like in the wood support area and on some plates. But it worked and now I finally have a more reliable pot on my volume control. I also changed the strings. On my Dansan there were Optima Gold, I used this strings for 10 years or so. But as you probably saw I started using Ernie Ball strings since an year on my everything’s improved. A good clean, checking the octaves and the tremolo block. Now she’s ready to rock.
