Emily in Minerva-Halo Body Cast and a Leg Cast

It is clear that Emily has recently been in a serious accident. Her neck is firmly supported by a thick, philadelphia type neck brace and her right leg is wrapped in a splint. The nurse tells Emily that she will be right back and then leaves for a moment. Emily, who is very clearly in pain, waits for the nurse to return. Finally, two of the nurses return and take Emily to the castroom. They start by putting her on the casting table and applying a short leg walking cast. Afterwards, the nurses sit Emily up, take off her philadelphia neck brace, and apply a Minerva body cast. The thick body cast holds Emily’s neck and back firmly in place. For additional support, the nurses apply a Halo Brace in addition to the Minerva cast. After the casting process is complet
