M/S as he sits there. Various shots as he is taken out of the gates, he waves as he goes. Intertitle - ’on the stroke of midnight - “the new year“ - the youngest drummer boy is played in “wi’ a waggin’ tail.“’ M/S as the soldier strikes the gong for midnight.
