Dj Venom - Revolution (Thunderdome Recordings 2013)

DJ Venom “Revolution“ (Thunderdome Recordings 2013) note from Dj Venom: “This track wasn’t inspired by any other song or artist. This track was inspired by the Fred Hampton speech I sampled. Fred Hampton was an activist and head of the Illinois Black Panther Party who was killed (murdered) by Chicago police at the age of 21. He has some great speeches that are truly inspiring to any revolutionary and they lent to the tone and atmosphere of this track. We decided it was only fitting to use clips of Fred hamton, as well as other figures of the Black Panther Movement for this video. While the views of the 1960s Black Panther Party are not necessarily the views of Morlock Musik, Hard Dance Nation or Thunderdome Recordings, they are very similar to the views of Dj Venom. Despite some public opinon that the Black Panther Party of the 60s was an anti-white hate group, they are in fact an anti-oppression group looking to liberate the oppressed. Power to the People, whatever color their skin
