Ukrainian Drone Unit under no illusion they will not be demobilised soon

As Ukraine wrestles with the hotly debated draft law on tightening mobilization rules, soldiers of a drone unit close to the frontline near Bakhmut say they are under no illusion they will be demobilised any time soon. “There should be no illusions, also among soldiers whom politicians have given hope that there will be demobilisation. There will not be any,“ Yurii Fedorenko, commander of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade’s drone unit said. The bill proposes discharging soldiers who have served continuously for 36 months. This is a sensitive issue for families of soldiers who have been fighting for almost two years and are exhausted. There is currently no time limit on wartime military service. “Let’s not cheat each other, this is not going to happen. If we let these people, experienced officers, sergeants, soldiers, people capable of performing combat tasks, taking on responsibility, if we let them go, there will be no one left to fight,“ Fedorenko said adding
