Moffitt and Pettigrew allow themselves to be captured in order to rescue an Allied spy with vital information about a surprise German offensive from a . camp. Upon learning that the operative has died, all seems lost, when both the camp doctor and an American sergeant suddenly claim to have been passed the information.
