Lido And Dido (1956)

Harwell, Berkshire. GV. The twelve ton flask in operation on Dido. LV. The flask, which is used to transport the fuel element to and from the storage containers, being lowered on top of Dido. Dido is the most powerful reactor for research purposes in Western Europe. SV. Top of the flask being lowered on the circular plug which are removed to insert the fuel elements. SV.
