When designing a home, garden and furniture for the harsh Australian landscape, Acre took inspiration from the sounding environment for the design of Dune House. Showcased throughout the house tour are key moments of pause, manifested by the considered landscape design and the outdoor furniture by Tait. The bold architecture is softened by the introduction of native plants embedded throughout the garden. Situated in its coastal setting, the dream home sits on top of a dune in the Mornington Peninsula. The heavily exposed site required considered landscape design that spoke to the home’s interior design.
