We went white water rafting for the first time on our trip to the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, and oh my goodness, did it exceed our expectations. We went with a company called Big Bear Rafting and the guides were awesome, the level of difficulty was perfect for our first time white water rafting—especially since we had five children ages 6-15!
