Suicide bomber kills at least 23 in attack on Pakistan police station

파키스탄 북서부 경찰서서 차량 자살 테러 최소 23명 사망 We begin today in Pakistan, where a suicide bomber attacked a police compound in the country’s northwest city of Dera Ismail Khan, killing at least 23 and injuring 32. Militant group Tehreek-e-Jihad Pakistan, affiliated to the Pakistani Taliban, claimed responsibility for Tuesday’s car bomb attack saying it was targeting officers at the police compound, which was being used as a base camp for the Pakistani army. The Pakistani army said an hourslong shootout ensued between its security forces and the militants. The statement also said a total of 27 militants were killed after overnight military operations in the area.
