Aaron Hibell - Monastery of Sound Mixtape, Vol 1 [full DJ set]

The ’Monastery of Sound’ volume 1 really encapsulates pure creative freedom for me. I produce, mix, and master all of my own tracks so this video is the culmination of hundreds of hours of work, spent alone in my living room, on the train and at the monastery. With this first volume I blended orchestral productions with progressive trance, techno and breakbeat. The track-listing contains several originals and edits for some of my favourite artists such as FOALS, Rüfüs Du Sol and London Grammar. This set felt like the perfect way to close volume 1. I had no budget to film a video but me and my friend Janis wanted to make something creative to share with you.
