PLEASE LIKE IT IF YOU LOVE IT! :) Road construction has never looked so sexy. This is a video a friend and I shot for E.T. Simonds, a local construction company based in Carbondale, Illinois. We have full access to the entire construction site, which made for some really unique shooting opportunities. The project consisted of widening a four-mile stretch of I-57 from 2 to 3 lanes. The site is located just outside Mt. Vernon, Illinois, and is slated for completion in December of 2013.
