Goree Carter - Rock Awhile (1949)

First rock’n’roll with famous guitar intro later used in many rock’n’roll songs. It has been cited as a contender for the “first rock and roll record“ title and a “much more appropriate candidate“ than the more frequently cited “Rocket 88“ (1951).
