Styx - Show Me The Way (1996 John Panazzo Tribute)

Taken from the “Return to Paradise“ tour, recorded in Chicago (Styx’s home town) in 1996, this song is dedicated to John Panazzo, drummer for the band since they were TW4, or the Tradewinds, on the streets of Roseland, Chicago, back in the late ’60’s-early ’70’s. John, along with his twin brother, Chuck, and Dennis Deyoung were the nucleus that brought James “JY’ Young and John Curulewski (years later replaced by Tommy Shaw (1976)) in to the group that would later become the mega-group Styx. This song was originally released on the 1989 album, “Edge of the Century“ and became the anthem (not of Styx’s doing) of troops sent to the Middle East during the Gulf War.
