JORDAN EAGLES: HEMOGLYPHS September 9, 2011 -- October 2, 2011 Causey Contemporary 92 Wythe Avenue, Brooklyn, NY Film by Leo Herrera Through a unique process, Jordan Eagles suspends, encases, and permanently preserves animal blood, salvaged from slaughterhouses, in plexiglass and UV resin and is the primary mark making medium in this exhibition. These works are experiments driven by spirituality, corporeality, fantasy, and chance. Eagles’ techniques are designed to re
