UCLA Spring Sing 2015 Presentation: Anthony Kiedis (George and Ira Gershwin Award for Lifetime Musical Achievement)

On May, 16th, 2015 UCLA held it’s annual Spring Sing talent show in world famous Pauley Pavilion. This show is a great opportunity for up and coming talented college students to not only showcase their amazing work in front of their fellow Bruins, but also in front of several celebrity judges, alumni, and guests from all over. One special part of Spring Sing that is unique to this great show is the George and Ira Gershwin Award for Lifetime Musical Achievement. Each year, one person is awarded for the great impact they have left on the world through their music. This year Anthony Kiedis, co-founder of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, was honored with this award. Kiedis was not only excited to be awarded this achievement, but gave a big thanks to the Bruins on behalf of himself and his band by performing several hit songs for the audience.
