How to make a leather sling bag with pattern and tutorial

The pattern can be found on our Etsy shop at or our website at . We remade this project due to increasing interest in it so we thought it deserved a video tutorial and a bit of tweaking. I’ve also been wearing mine for over a year now and it’s serving me well. As you can see it has 2 side pockets and two compartments. It closes using a 500 mm zipper and you will need another four 30 mm buckles in addition. We used 6 oz ( 2 mm ) vegetable tanned leather which was hand dyed using Fiebing’s Pro Saddle tan.
