GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Rangers () | Eller Has Two-Point Game

Saturday afternoon, the Pittsburgh Penguins hosted the New York Rangers for their first of two home games this weekend. Pittsburgh started the scoring with a blast from the point by John Ludvig, who has two goals in two games. The Rangers answered right back with two goals of their own by Kaapo Kakko and Adam Fox. Later in the 1st, Bryan Rust tied the game at two goals aside. But once again, the Rangers had an answer to take the lead again. Artemi Panarin scored his first of the night. The 2nd period saw only power-play goals. Lars Eller scored his 13th of the season. Eller’s goal was answered by New York with Panarin’s second goal and a follow-up goal by Mika Zibanejad. K’Andre Miller started the scoring in the third to extend the Rangers lead to 6-3. Valtteri Puustinen tried changing the momentum with his goal late in the 3rd, but it was not enough.
