How to Inspect and Lube Your Brakes (COMPLETE GUIDE)

Handling. It is by far, the most important part of a vehicle if you ask me. You can make a car stupid fast, but if you can’t control it, it is useless. Any vehicle needs to be able to come to a stop safely, reliably, and consistently. My aim for this video is to help you keep you and your family safe, while saving you a few bucks. So first off, here is what I used in this video: GearWrench Brake Lining Thickness Gauge ▶︎ Permatex Silicone Brake Lubricant ▶︎ Permatex Copper Anti-seize ▶︎ Shop Towels ▶︎ Tekton Wire Brush Set ▶︎ Tekton Mini Wire Brush Set ▶︎ OTC Brake Caliper Hanger ▶︎ Lang Tools Brake Caliper Press ▶︎ AC Delco Brake Parts Cleaner ▶︎ Astro 40SL Rechargeable LED Light ▶︎ GearWrench Ratchet Wrench Set ▶︎ Dewalt 20V Max XR Impact Gun ▶︎ Torin 3-Ton Aluminum Jack Stands ▶︎ 3-Ton Low-Profile Aluminum Floor Jack ▶︎ Camera Used for this Video ▶︎ So I’ve pretty much showed you everything you need to know, not only how to inspect your brakes, but if you have the courage, the knowledge to do perform a full brake service. Showing you how to remove the pads, how to remove the rotor, how to retract the brake piston back into the caliper, and then how to properly lubricate everything. I really hope this helps you guys out, and even for the people that are more familiar with this process, hopefully you learned a thing too!! If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email at milanmastracci@.
