I’ve recently become obsessed with various musicals, and I was listening to the Heathers OST when it “hit me like a flash“ that the Diamonds from Steven Universe are the perfect parody material for the iconic song ’Candy Store’! 💎 Look: Apart from the obvious “Three popular girls from the clique are recruiting one new member“, we also have White being the dominating alpha, who controls the other two girls both metaphorically and literally (via mind-control), and she also was the closest to dying and at the hands of a boy, too (💀even if it was merely a vision in Steven’s head). 😴 Blue has dark circles under her eyes because she’s a party-goer and doesn’t have enough sleep, and her moody attitude is the result of her secret internal crisis. 💃 And Yellow is an athletic dancer/cheerleader, ’cuz there’s ALWAYS an annoying queen bee who attends a dance studio, for some reason.
