Swords of Northshire Custom Katana Tameshigiri Test Cutting (HD)

Re-Load of original video with better quality download. Test cutting with Custom Katana from Swords of Northshire. 1095 monosteel with differential hardening, made with custom tsuka and blade length. I went with a 12“ tsuka and inch nagasa. Unokubi zukuri blade style. Very quick in the hands and well balanced. Tsuka-ito is well wrapped and didn’t loosen at all thru the test cutting. Cutting edge was very sharp out of the box, I hadn’t done any polishing or sharpening on this blade yet. Using 4“ diameter soaked (24 hours) tatami omote for targets. See my other video for a better look at katana. Using Tatami Omote from Mugen Dachi Target stand from Sword n Armory Note: stand performed great... and it’s portable and can be taken down. Love this feature.
