Anarchy Demo (Remix) (Amiga Protracker mod from 1998)

After 25 years I’ve finally been able to rip all of my old ProTracker projects from my Commodore Amiga disks. The Amiga file format is unreadable in modern disk drives, so I’ve had to hold onto the disks in the hope that one day I could export my projects and hear them again. Finally, thanks to the Drawbridge circuit board, that day finally arrived. My first primitive steps into music production, limited to 4 channels of 8 bit samples and a maximum file size of 400kb. I spent hours on each track, trying to squeeze as much out of the limitations of the format. Being reunited with these songs after so long has been an emotional experience and I’m really happy to be able to share them. I’m just so happy I kept hold of those disks! After ProTracker I moved onto OctaMED with physical synths via its MIDI capabilities, then MED Soundstudio on the PC with a huge jump in sample quality, then onto the everything else. But it all started here, with 400kb.
