Tibetan Buddhist Pet & Animal Blessing – Amitabha Mantra – Om Ami Dewa Hri

The chant was recorded in my home studio where I performed the vocal tracks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I learned this Tibetan Buddhist Mantra while studying under Bardor Tulku Rinpoche and received the empowerment to practice the Amitabha Sadhana – The Buddha of Infinite Light - from him in the early 2000’s. He taught that if animals hear this Mantra – Om Ami Dewa Hri - while they are alive or even after they’ve passed away that it will Bless them and ensure they have a higher re-birth. After chanting this Mantra for years I’ve come to experience it as a deep and authentic Blessing in my own life and have chanted it to animals and pets on many occasions. Last week I chanted this Mantra to my beloved pet of 17 years – my cat Lombee – while she died from old age. Although deeply saddened by the loss of my little friend, I felt grateful that she could hear this ancient and authentic Mantra Blessing from Tibet. I decided to record myself chanting Om Ami Dewa Hri and posting it on YouTube so that you can play it for your animals!
