Osa air defenсe system crew covered the ground units Soldiers of the anti-aircraft missile system OSA-AKM of the Central Military District destroyed reconnaissance drones of the armed forces of Ukraine. During combat duty, the crews of the Osa air defence system cover the areas of deployment of personnel, equipment and the concentration of assault units of the military district. The specifics of the weapons and radar equipment of the complex makes it possible to detect and destroy enemy small-sized reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles. The crew of the Osa in recent weeks has destroyed about 30 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, such as Furiya, Leleka, which conducted aerial reconnaissance of the positions of the Russian Armed Forces, thereby preventing artillery strikes, saving the lives of personnel and the combat readiness of units. For the impeccable performance of combat duty to cover the airspace in the areas of deployment of Russian troops, the crew of the Osa anti-aircraft missile system was presented for state awards.
