Item title reads: “ Think And Eat---Imperially! Earl of Meath, Empire Movement Veteran, and representatives of Dominions, at mixing of the King’s Empire Xmas pudding….and handed to the Lord Mayor for boiling in the Mansion House Kitchen.“ London M/S chefs on display, with a Union Jack draped over a table A sign says ’Zanzibar’ as cloves are fetched by two black men. This is put into a bowl. Something else is brought by a person in Asian dress, probably a spice. Another sign says ’South African Raisons’ as girls, in scouting outfits, appear. These are added. The next sign says ’English Beer’ which is brought by a fat man with a flagon. Beer is poured in. The mayor holds the huge bowl and the man in a chef’s outfit, fits on the lid, ready for steaming.
