That led to the first properly recorded LP titled “Encounters“. “Encounters“ is the debut album of “The BlueMoon Projects“. It’s a Progressive/Space/Art Rock album that is always shifting, changing pace and styles. All songs have their own distinct musical identity, differing in mood and feel but in a way that complement each other. All sounds used are meticulously chosen to act not just as sound effects but as a way of storytelling. The story is told through the lens of science fiction. Realizing how bleak humanity has become, the main character makes Contact and is given the choice to escape. “Concept albums were a common occurrence in the world of Art/Progressive Rock in the late 60’s and in the 70’ wanted to re-create the magic of that era, an album viewed as an experience that takes you through a story from start to finish.
