PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION – Are you a beginner painter? Want to learn how to paint with acrylics? Looking for an easy painting idea? Let me be your acrylic art instructor as I teach you easy step-by-step instructions throughout this fun beginner art video as you learn how to paint spices and spoons-a beautiful still life painting “SILVER SPICE SPOONS”. I love spices! You’d probably think I’m crazy with the amount of spices I have in my cupboard. You name it, I have it- parsley, oregano, thyme, rosemary, basil, marjoram, sage, cumin, chili powder, red Pepper, black Pepper, paprika, sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, turmeric, and so many more. Not only do I need so many spices for cooking but I’m also a believer in holistic healing. Someone once told me that for every one thing in nature that can harm you, there is something in nature that can heal you. Spices have so many health benefits from reducing inflammation to preventing cancer and from brightening your mood to giving you more energy. Load up on your spices and not only enjoy a more tasteful meal but live a healthier and happier life too. So, join me and paint with acrylics this alluring and colorful still life painting and paint your own favorite spices. The painting process is so simple to follow. First, you’ll learn how to paint a dark background which will create the perfect contrast for your spoon and spices to pop off the canvas. Then, after learning how to draw an outline for your spoons using a dot-to-dot method, you’ll apply a base coat to work off of. In the next step, you’ll learn how to add highlights and shadows to the spoon to give them shine and dimension, giving them a realistic 3-D effect like a photograph. You’ll then learn how to use a stippling dotting technique to add the base coat for your spices, followed by layering colors for added depth and texture. The spices will look good enough to eat! Have fun and change up the utensil; paint a fork, a spork, a spatula, a knife. Change the color of the background to fit the décor of your kitchen. You will never cook the same again with this hanging up on the wall, your culinary skills will rival the best chefs in the world. Step aside Bobby Flay, Morimoto, Gordon Ramsey, Guy Fieri, Wolfgang Puck, there is a new best chef in town who has the painting in their kitchen to prove it. The painting process is so simple you’ll feel like it is a paint by numbers. Using only 3 brushes and 6 colors, you’ll paint like a professional! Have a date night at home, paint party, paint and sip event, or virtual paint night. Paint with gouache, oil paint, or watercolor, any medium will work! Paint just for fun or for art therapy. It’s an easy art project. I hope you enjoy watching this YouTube art video and let’s get painting and let’s get sipping!
