Greenfield - The Largest City in Minecraft -

Greenfield has arrived at the terminal and is ready to disembark! In this update, we have increased the size of the city by almost 2x. The crown jewel of the update is the long-awaited Greenfield International Airport. In addition to that, we have added nearly 3000 brand new houses, 7 new districts, activities, shopping, a massive retirement facility, and so much more. We can’t wait for you all to explore it. Airport: The crown jewel of the update in the package of a sizeable transportation hub for the west coast. Greenfield International Airport, ICAO code KGIA, has been designed and put together in the most realistic and detailed form ever seen in Minecraft, with accurate ground markings, sprawling baggage facilities, offices, and 3 magnificent terminals from different ages of passenger aviation history. The planes themselves have been closely detailed to match their real-life counterparts in design and even interior. With international and domestic services to major cities across the globe, Greenfield International Airport is the grand gateway to our wonderful city. Los Llanos: Los Llanos is a new district based off of a suburb in LA, Norwalk. This section is just south of the airport and shows off nearly 1000 unique bungalows. Each of these bungalows contains fully furnished and detailed interiors and exterior foliage. Additionally, dozens of apartments and stores, two schools, railways, and much more are featured in this large and detailed district. Rockwell: Rockwell, named after a late build member, rockthevox, is based around Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach in LA. The housing density and types are unique to this district of LA, and we wanted to mimic that in our city. This new district contains shopping, nightclubs, hotels, a cemetery, parks, and nearly 1000 homes. It has a high-class feel with expensive-looking homes but remains densely packed like our real-life reference. Palma: Palma is a neighborhood based on El Segundo, LA. The area is comprised of a moderately dense series of buildings, nicer landscaping, and quieter peaceful surroundings. This district takes a lot of its niceness due to the Sonora river being nearby, and its proximity to Rockwell. It contains a variety of shopping centers, apartment buildings, a police department, a train station, and a luxury retirement community. Rio Pueblo: Rio Pueblo is a district that lies just north of the Sonora River. Similar to the district of Los Llanos, it is based on Norwalk, LA, and contains hundreds of detailed bungalows all with fully furnished and realistic interiors and exterior foliage. In addition to that, we also have multiple strip malls, an Ace Golf driving range, and a 9-hole golf course with a country club. Lannex: Lannex sits adjacent to the Greenfield International Airport and north of Rio Pueblo. This district could be described as the ground support for the Airport. It encases several hotels, parking facilities, maintenance bays, a large multimodal facility, a complex highway network, and numerous cargo warehouses which sit along the Airport. North Lannex: Right across the massive Greenfield Bay Bridge, and north of the Airport, you’ll find this small district. Home to the illustrious Thorne Botanical Garden and the expansive swampy Wynne Chavez provincial park, this district is where you want to be if you’re a nature lover! Whether you stop by the botanical garden’s hand-placed forests and plants, check out the local bars, or take a drive over the bay bridge, you’re guaranteed to have a great time exploring Greenfield’s most northern district. -------------------------------------------------------------- Official Links -------------------------------------------------------------- Download page: Patreon: Discord: Dynmap: Instagram: Facebook: Twitter: Wiki: JOIN OUR BUILD TEAM! #apply -------------------------------------------------------------- Credits -------------------------------------------------------------- Music: 0 by C418 () Shaders: Blender 3.0 Cycles Engine Video: Staples_, Bluecolty, BriLila9891, and NJDaeger
