The seldom heard roar-bark of the Maned Wolf

The Maned Wolf is a very unusual member of the dog family. Not a true wolf at all, it is the sole remaining remnant of the prehistoric carnivores from South American. Truly a unique and rare animal with a skunk like defense scent, a unique gate, and an amazing vocalization called a roar -bark. Since this video was created the numbers have improved, but accurate numbers are hard determine because the maned wolf is so shy and secretive.
