08. No Quarter - Led Zeppelin [1975-02-08 - Live at Philadelphia]

Let’s now upload something from an somewhat underrated period of the band’s career: The Spectrum 1975. The tape is complete and the quality is pretty good. The crowd is a bit rowdy tonight, and Plant comments about it at times! There’s footage of this gig avaliable all over YouTube, wich is such fine on the same way. Now onto the performance... Frankly i personally don’t like this show. But i have to do some appointments: Plant’s voice has recovered a bit from the earlier gigs of the tour, but he is still very far from the later concerts of March (such as Long Beach, Seattle and Vancouver shows) having some trouble with the high notes. Don’t you worry, he will improve still more during the next few gigs (Landover and the famous 2/12)! Page has improved from his injured finger, blazing more easily throughout the solos. Jones and Bonzo are in top form (as usual). In My Time Of Dying, No Quarter, Stairway and Heartbreaker are powerful versions tonight. I really hope you enjoy this show more than me.
