I tried so hard today to find this lost place but it was brutal out in the woods exploring

I went searching and exploring the woods today to try and find a lost colonial site that I believe is out there. Hiking through forest that has been logged is rough not to mention after a ton of rain the ground is just a mess. So I followed the rock walls and was trying to locate a cellar hole, the old foundation. This is what you must do to find these old places if you want to do some metal detecting and relic hunting. I am glad I went out there because I got to see a lot of land in our area that I had not before.
