Pop-up Dome Prototype

Presentation by Leon Zondervan and Dwayne van Halewijn of the cardboard prototype Pop-up Dome. It’s a lightweight structure made out of corrugated cardboard sheets, connected with fiberglass reinforced tape. This prototype is a 2,5 meters high dome with a diameter of 5 meters, foldable (with a single rotating movement) into a transportable package with a diameter of 2 meters and just 0,5 meter high.
