She is scared about this world, she knows nothing about it. Enoch, on the other hand, doesn’t help her much: he scares her with his tricks, making her believe that he is some kind of a psychopath, that he enjoys killing people and then bring them back to life to play with their corpses. But Mia is very kind and she makes a way to Enoch’s heart, making him reveal himself. So they end up together, they spend time together and Mia, not scared about her true nature anymore, finds out what is her peculiarity: she is an ymbryne! But this doesn’t do good to their relationship because ymbrynes ofter aren’t married or in love, so Enoch thinks she will just fly away and never come back someday and every time she transforms to a crow, he’s scared she will leave him forever.
