The hunt for Miss Kerala : Sahyadria denisonii in the wild ( HD )

The ever so popular Redline Torpedo Barb or Denison Barb had been in my wishlist for quite some time. I have had documented these underwater at Sullia, Karnataka in the past, but the overnight rain made the river very murky and the video quality was disappointing. Words cannot express the happiness of finding these adorable barb in nature. Species that coexist are Pseudetroplus maculatus, Salmostoma sp, Mesonemacheilus guentheri, Awaous sp, Glossogobius sp, Dawkinsia filamentosa, Systomus sp, Channa pseudomarulius, Lutjanus argentimaculatus, Rasbora dandia, Devario aequipinnatus, Barilius malabaricus, Hypselobarbus sp, Garra sp, Sicyopterus griseus and Hyporhamphus limbatus.
