Fruit Garden CAL Acanthus & Final Border

Can you believe it! Here I am with the video to accompany the final part of the patterns for the Fruit Garden CAL! In Part 8 you are going to add a short row to each side of the Acanthus motif along with a final round. Then, once you have joined all your motifs together, you need to add the final border. In this video I show you how to complete the Acanthus motif and how to work some of the rounds of the border. As always, the patterns are free to download via the Stylecraft web site and are written in UK & US terms and the Dutch language. Within this video I had hoped to be able to also reveal the new version of the Fruit Garden blanket (which will be released to coincide with the re-launch of the CAL in the Autumn), especially as I know so many of you are waiting patiently to see the new colour palette. Sadly the blanket has not arrived back with me after the recent photo shoot. I will, therefore, make a new video within the next week or so to reveal the new blanket and accompanying cushion designs. You can sign up to my mailing list or follow Stylecraft on social media for more information. In the introduction to the video I also show you the motifs from the Climbing Rose Wrap (a project inspired by fabric designs by William Morris), which was a released as a CAL project in Inside Crochet Magazine last year. The patterns for the 4 motifs and the flower border, which make up the wrap design, have now been amalgamated into one 16 page pattern that can be purchased as a download via my Ravelry or Etsy stores, or a paper brochure option via my web site, where you can also find dedicated yarn packs. Finally, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you for your incredible support over the last few months. You are all crochet superheroes!
