Russia says it has killed 70 armed insurgents who crossed the border from Ukraine. Professor Michael Clarke says that claim “looks credible“. He added there didn’t seem to have been much fighting as “it is not as if these characters have been shooting up these villages or engaging with a lot of Russian soldiers“.
