Taken from the album “Cher“ (Canadian pressing, Kapp/MCA KS-3649) This was one of my grandmother’s favourite tunes from back in the day. When she was younger, she was kind of a wandering spirit with a big sense of adventure, which is why I think she was really connected with this song. She used to watch the Sonny & Cher Show, and was a big fan of the duo ever since they made their debut on vinyl, and, later, on television. Sadly, my grandmother passed away just a few weeks ago, and it’s hit me kinda hard. After all, she was the one who introduced me to vinyl in the first place. I have to admit, I’ve been absent from YouTube for a bit (again!) primarily because of her failing health. Hoping to get my mojo back in that direction in the weeks ahead! :) This one’s for you, Grandma. Rest in peace.
