Halloween is the perfect time to search the Steam store for those awesome horror games and today we have found yet another gem! Nightmare of Decay is an homage to the old-school horror games from the PlayStation 1 era like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. This time it is presented in a first-person perspective as we explore a mansion that has been overrun with the undead. Many tropes and cliches get used like enemy types, environments and character references, but it was all done very well and charming. It was not done to make a quick buck, but the creators actually took their time crafting this homage in something worth playing.
