SpaceX conducts full power water deluge test ahead of second Starship test flight
JUST IN: Witness the Jaw-dropping New water deluge system Test SpaceX conducted to protect against the immense heat & force of Starship launch. Starbase Orbital Launch Mount (OLM) Steel Plate Water Deluge System FULL test with commentary. Just over 3 months from the first orbital test ’s all it took for SpaceX to design, fabricate, install and test a functioning water deluge system. SpaceX’s Starship flame deflector at its South Texas launch pad underwent a full-pressure test on July 28, 2023.
