She regularly runs two music events in London: Wanita, a female-focused vinyl night at Walthamstow Trades Hall and East Asia Beat at Spiritland with her DJ partner Lucky Cat Zoë. On the first Friday of every month, she hosts the Wanita Music Show at Radio X Frankfurt City FM 91.8 where she invites ladies working in the music biz to share stories and play their favourite records. Jawa has DJed at music festivals and club dance floors across Europe where she plays garage rock, psych, East Asia beat and soul.
